At first sight i sort of fell in love with this bike, that is why i decided to post it on my blog. I usually don’t post bikes, but i decided to, if you are interested in that type of thing you should check out lockedcog.com.

this bike is built for the joy of riding, not to be locked up in a public rack. [$1,600 bertelli

converted-deserted-missile-base

This has to be the most unique and creative thing I have ever seen. In 1950′s to the early 1960′s the US government, afraid of a nuclear attack, built nuclear missiles bases across the country. Now they are being converted in to living spaces, and unique ones at that. Please take the time to watch the video deeper in this post. Hosted by Veronica Velasquez

timeOverview

I spoke with Micah Barrett the other night, He was telling me a little bit about the challenges of art school and the things he had created. I snooped around his little blog and found a few things that I couldn’t resist to share. This project “about time” just amazes me, the concept and simplicity.  The design just communicates to you, right when you look at it their is a connection to you that just speaks out. He had mentioned he definitely enjoyed this one, and here is something he mentioned  “I could spend 20 minutes waiting in line for something and be frustrated, bored and it feels like an eternity, or I could be spending those same 20 minutes drawing or playing a video game and it feels like only a few seconds passed.”

POEM : DRIVING TO CRASH

November 12th, 2009

The organic ways,
the emotions from her face.
has got me thinking
thinking I gotta change.
I gotta know
gotta know the road that she’s paved.
cause the bumps
the cracks,
the desires are here
and they got her back.

Driving night to night
five states over
with no desire to pull over.
feeling the desire
the desire to crash
crash into the end,
the end of the world
like there was no other way to begin.

should i give in
like when the rain hit
the skin
because i’ve been driving for hours
sun rise to sun down
with questions that i can’t figure out.

i’ve given in……
