EXHIBITION IN SPAIN BY CADAVAL & SOLA-MORALES
December 2nd, 2009Cadaval & Solà-Morales is a design company founded in 2003 in New York, but moved their headquarters in Barcelona and New Mexico in 2005. Winner of impressive awards, their main mission is to constantly conduct research in order to come up with new and improved “intelligent solutions”. This particular project is an exhibition(Ulls del Mon) the firm arranged in Barcelona, Spain. The items were displayed using a few large materials disposed in the shape of “X”. The fact that the only colours used were black and white- just like the pictures- ensured a serious environment, typical for such an event.

SECOND PHARELL CHAIR DESIGN
November 29th, 2009He does love to design chairs, this being his second from many more to come. The Tank chair pretty much speaks for itself. Pharell definitely comes out of left field with his work and design.

GODIVA MELTING CHOCOLATE STORE IN JAPAN
November 27th, 2009Godiva Chocolatier, one of the world’s most elegant, hand-crafted chocolates creators, originated in Brussels Belgium in 1926 with Joseph Draps. As time passed by, and the success of Godiva grew in Belgium, Draps sought to expand the company off to foreign horizons. The first Godiva boutique outside Belgium was opened in 1958 in Paris followed by openings in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and more. Expansion also continued into Asia when the first Godiva chocolates became available in Japan in the prestigious Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Department Store in central Tokyo in 1972.
