US VERSUS THEM COLLAB W/BLACK SCALE VIDEO
December 22nd, 2009Following UsVersusThem, we know they just recently collaborated with Crooks & Castles. Us Versus Them has put out yet another video showing there upcoming collaboration with fellow west coast brand, black scale. Working from a concept created by Mega and Us Versus Them designer Graham Nystrom, the brand’s applied a signature hand drawn style, pulling inspiration from the cryptic crests and symbolism of old European architecture. Aiming to keep the true meaning of the symbolism cloudy, the graphic is centered around the Ourobouros, an ancient symbol of a serpent eating itself, which is said to represent death and rebirth, and the phrase “La Guerra Clandestina”, meaning The Secret War, lends a heavy feeling to the project.

They seem to pride themselves on simplistically modern design. I love anything that reminds me of Swedish design, so contemporary and modern and structural.
MOSLEY TRIBES 2010 COLLECTION
December 17th, 2009Mosley Tribes is on there way to the top, the design is hip, fresh, and geared to today’s trends. The resort collection for spring 2010 video was definitely a very well put together piece. The seasonal epic theme was collaborated perfectly and appearances by Nicole Lemoine and Alex Beh showing off the upcoming frames. Check it!
CHRISTOPHER KANE, BOMBS AWAY!
December 16th, 2009British wunderkind designer Christopher Kane has followed his angry gorilla range with an affordable collection atomic wares (as seen in his SS09 resort collection). He has collaborated with NYC retailer Opening Ceremony to produce the unisex atomic bomb and mushroom cloud print tees and dresses, and they are available at a fraction of the price of the luxe originals. The images are inspired from test explosions in the 50’s and 70’s while the shirts are made from 95% Viscose 5% Lycra.

Last year saw the work of Greenfield captured in stunning cinematic form with the following video. With the changing landscape, Greenfield’s certain approach to his craft is slowly dying out making his story all the more remarkable.
ISAORA 2009 COLLECTION LAUNCH VIDEO
December 11th, 2009Conceptualized and executed with the help of Attack, ISAORA present their 2009 fall/winter collection in an interesting light with the following collection video. With a unmistakable technical approach that is necessitated by the snowboard apparel and fashion, the video highlights the technical properties of ISAORA’s collection albeit in an unorthodox form. The video was directed by Shinichi Maruyama and edited by Jamie Carreiro with music provided by MNDR.
