June 28th, 2011

I was thinking tonight what I wanted to post about and what came to mind was the top sites I enjoy visiting daily outside of my social network sites. So here they are….They all fit a certain place in my daily tasks at the computer, sometimes for inspiration, sometimes for the enjoyment of looking at design, other peoples work etc. I probably have a few more sites I visit but these were the first to come to mind. I ran into a toms rep Jason at Heritage in Roseville, CA, which is one of my friends shops and was talking to Jason about &Wellington. Store: First Edition

March 16th, 2011

I noticed the location of this shop about a year ago but never ventured into it, because it was previously Upper Playground and I wasn’t really into the clothing there. Maybe I am just in a ranting mood, but i think it is bullshit. Someone has been watching a little to much of the movie “The Still Life” and trying to be an artist of “destruction” aka destruction-ism. The film was by Joel Miller. visit there site and check out the movie http://www.thestilllifemovie.com

My internet these days isn’t very fast, and I was waiting and waiting for this video to load. I almost got to the point of closing it and he connected the drumstick with the drum and boom the boxes started animating, this has to be the most inspiring thing I have seen in a long time. I love the response and concept of this video.

Take a look inside. You might see animated boxes!

JASPER GOODALL

December 11th, 2009

Jasper Goodall was asked By Electric Blue gallery in early 2009 if I would have a show of my work at their East London gallery. At the time he was playing with ideas of combining photography with illustration by creating fantastical bodies printed as posters and held up by a model. The Electric Blue show became the catalyst to bring this work together and so ‘Poster Girls’ was born…
