The shoot with Autym went well, this shoot was about two years ago or so and I haven’t been shooting much at all but we were going for a california kind of girl style shoot. Really didn’t have a concept to start with but molded into something pretty interesting. I will be heading up to Tahoe/Glenn brooke this weekend to do a video shoot for Favoritepastime.com it’s been a while since i’ve used a camera but I think something solid will come out of it.

June 28th, 2011

I was thinking tonight what I wanted to post about and what came to mind was the top sites I enjoy visiting daily outside of my social network sites. So here they are….They all fit a certain place in my daily tasks at the computer, sometimes for inspiration, sometimes for the enjoyment of looking at design, other peoples work etc. I probably have a few more sites I visit but these were the first to come to mind. About a month ago I made a trip to Visalia, California and ended up going out with Wynter for a shoot. We had been talking about it for a little while, but didn’t really know what we wanted the “theme” to be. I met up with her at her house and we started going through clothing ideas and came across the shorts and the jacket, then Autym came to the rescue with many other ideas. The shoot turned out pretty good and I was happy with it. I consider this shoot my first real shoot as far as shooting solo and putting things together.

Let me know what you think!

Over the years I have gathered a huge list of photographers that I have bookmarked, and have grown to love. Kalle Gustafsson is one that just always stands out to me. I love looking at his work and to me he is one of the most inspiring photographers around today. These are just a few of his photos from his portfolio online. He is also represented by Skarpe.se which is an amazing agency with a handful of really good photographers.
