EXHIBITION BY MILES ALDRIDGE

British photographer born in 1964, he lives and works in London. After studying photography, he entered into fashion photography in 1995. It is during this period his work first appeared in prestigious magazines such as Vogue Italia, Numéro, V, or even the New York Times Magazine. His artful composition and mastery of color make him one of our current photographic luminaries. His first exhibition in France, at colette from November 9th to December 5th, will display some of his most notable work, as well as his sketch books. On November 19th, Miles Aldridgewill give us the pleasure of signing his book, which is published by Steidl, at colette, from 6 pm to 7 pm. Thanks to Lavazza and the Reflex Gallery.

November 11th, 2009First off I would like to say, I think the whole lady Gaga V Magazine cover ruined this magazine for me. I would have to say I have paid no attention to it since then, Until I saw this Natalie Portman shoot. Who Doesn’t love everything about Natalie Portman? I mean really though, her acting is phenomenal, her look is so unique and intriguing to so many different people. It is amazing how one woman can have that much of an impact on the male and female population. Mario Testino did an amazing job shooting her on this shoot, All her best angles and emotion is captured in this shoot.
LYON-SHOP : AMELIA & JUSTIN LYON ( PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP )
November 7th, 2009A little over a week ago Megan and I traveled down to Laguna Beach, CA, for a workshop that Megan had volunteered us for. It was a great drive down and I hadn’t been to LA or southern California in a while. The first day we spent all day driving then got back to the hotel and went on another little coastal drive, which was very nice. We were definitely looking forward to the workshop the next day, Modeling here we come! First off I thought the cost of their workshop was a bit much, but then as I sat and watched everything they went through while shooting, etc. It is definitely worth the money for an aspiring photographer. They’re energetic, lively, and great to work with and their direction is on point. Thanks again Amelia and Justin!!!!!!!!
