June 28th, 2011I was thinking tonight what I wanted to post about and what came to mind was the top sites I enjoy visiting daily outside of my social network sites. So here they are….They all fit a certain place in my daily tasks at the computer, sometimes for inspiration, sometimes for the enjoyment of looking at design, other peoples work etc. I probably have a few more sites I visit but these were the first to come to mind. BETWEEN BEING BORN AND DYING EXHIBITION
November 1st, 2009Legendary artist of conceptual art, Barbara Kruger has recently opened her “Between Being Born and Dying” instillation in New York City. Commenting on modern society’s obsession with constant media bombardment the exhibition uses her signature bold text to encapsulate environments from floor to ceiling in inescapable monochrome comments on political issues, feminism, consumerism, individual autonomy, and desire. The exhibition is at The Lever House Art Collection in New York until November 21st.
