MUSIC : SABAC – THE RITUAL
November 5th, 2009Most of the time I think people judge hip hop by it’s cover. That it is all about money, power, hate, guns, and violence. I would have to say this is one of the most positive albums I have heard in a long time. Since my mother was murdered I haven’t really listened to hip hop at all, and not really sure why. My brother told me about sabac and I was not really wanting to listen to hip hop anymore and just kind of sticking to like down tempo style music, but this has made me want to listen to it again. You should listen to the words and then make your judgment. Thanks.

MUSIC : SCARLETT JOHANSSON & PETE YORN – BREAK UP
November 5th, 2009When i first laid eyes on this album in Starbucks I was kind of skeptical. Pete yorn has had some descent hits in the past, but I had never heard of Scarlett Johansson taking a shot at vocals. I was unsure when i first heard it, but the more i listen to it the more i tend to enjoy it. This is definitely one of my favorite songs on the album and also a little lower tempo.

CELLULOID JAM by Norisada Maeda Atelier
November 5th, 2009First of all I just want to say, I am not that thrilled about the landscape of this home, but i am definitely in love with the design. The curves and modern structure. Norisada Maeda Atelier definitely pays attention to detail, and the smooth curvature of the walls just get me going. I definitely have a huge obsession with modern and contemporary architecture. Less is more, and simplicity shines through all.
