How do you feel about this Hotel in Netherlands by Wilfried van Winden of WAM Architecten
June 7th, 2010The new Inntel hotel in Zaandam is without a shadow of a doubt already the main eye-stopper in the revamped town centre and a building that has set many tongues wagging in the Netherlands. The iconic green wooden houses of the Zaan region were the fount of inspiration for the hotel’s designer, Wilfried van Winden (WAM architecten, Delft). The structure is a lively stacking of various examples of these traditional houses, ranging from a notary’s residence to a worker’s cottage. The hotel opens its doors to guests from 18 March. PHOTOGRAPHY: MICHAEL MARTINHO
June 7th, 2010About a month ago I made a trip to Visalia, California and ended up going out with Wynter for a shoot. We had been talking about it for a little while, but didn’t really know what we wanted the “theme” to be. I met up with her at her house and we started going through clothing ideas and came across the shorts and the jacket, then Autym came to the rescue with many other ideas. The shoot turned out pretty good and I was happy with it. I consider this shoot my first real shoot as far as shooting solo and putting things together.
Let me know what you think!
Jake Troth – Material Things.
May 2nd, 2010This is a piece that my friend Alex Goose produced and I think the production is amazing. The quality, concept and overall wardrobe is amazing. the song nails “material things” right on the head, I think a lot of us rely on material things and money for happiness, we can all be held accountable for that, as well as millions of other people in the world. Although I can say money does not equate to happiness, but it sure makes life a lot easier in many aspects. Check out jaketroth.com and alexgoose.com. Amazing talent and amazing projects, the end result is phenomenal.

PENTAGRAM – KANUHURA RESORT BY JOHN RUSHWORTH
April 8th, 2010Kanuhura is a coral island hideaway in a remote atoll of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. A seaplane brings you to the resort’s timber and thatch on white sand, smiling service and the most up-to-date facilities. John Rushworth has designed the identity and signage for Kanuhura, a luxury resort on a remote atoll in the Maldives. It was one of the first five star hotels in the region and is the most remote in its class. It is further distinguished from its competitors by being the only one to have been developed locally rather than by an international hotel group
